Terms and Conditions

By signing my child/children up for a team within the Inglewood Saints Basketball Club (part of the St Peter's Sports Association Inc):

I/we acknowledge that the PLAYING of, and TRAINING for basketball as well as PARTICIPATION in other associated activities conducted by St Peter’s Sports Association Inc (The Club)  is undertaken by me/us or my/our children at my/our own risk. I/we understand that no liability for personal injury, loss or damage to personal effects which may be incurred or suffered by me/them/us as a consequence of such participation is accepted by St Peter’s Sports Association Inc.

I/we agree to abide by the Basketball WA Code of Conduct as players, parents and family spectators. We acknowledge that any breach of this Code may result in disciplinary action as deemed appropriate by the Club, or the East Perth District Basketball Association.

Games are conducted and overseen by the East Perth District Basketball Association and run in conjunction with their ByLaws. These By Laws are available on the EPDBA website and may be updated from time to time.

Each players Fee is made up of:

  • Basketball WA and Basketball Australia levies (payable annually)

  • East Perth District Basketball Association Fee (games, court hire, umpires)

  • Inglewood Saints Club Fee (jersey, windup, trophy, equipment)

Commencing Summer 2025/2026, the East Perth District Basketball Association Fee will now be paid directly to East Perth; therefore, should a player withdraw from the season, East Perth Association will need to be contacted directly for their fee. Their refund policy is contained within their by-laws.

The club’s refund policy for the Club Fee is as follows:

  • Withdrawal within the 1st 2 weeks of the season, 75% refund is available

  • Withdrawal after 2 weeks and prior to mid-season, 50% refund is available

  • After the mid-season, no refund is available

If a player is injured and cannot play, a medical certificate will need to be provided, and a pro-rata refund will be considered upon receipt.

Forfeits

East Perth Associate will grant, without penalty a forfeit if > 7 days’ notice is provided, requests to be made to the Club by the coach / manager 7 days prior.

A fine / penalty in line with East Perth Association by laws may be applicable if a request is received , less than 7 days prior. The Club will subsequently charge this to each player within the team, equally including manager / coach if they do not have a child within the team.
